Anatomy search
Search every structure in the atlas by name or by any of its recorded aliases, across every species. Results carry their category, their system and their source.
Aliases count
Most structures carry several names — condylus femoris and femoral condyle reach the same page as condyle of femur. The index is built over every alias the source ontology records, not just the canonical name.
A fuzzy hit is a suggestion, not an answer
A near-miss on "femer" scores identically to a near-miss on "ileum" against "ilium" — and one of those corrections is helpful while the other is dangerous. Nothing here promotes a fuzzy match to a resolution on your behalf; the near matches are offered and you choose.
Questions
Can I search by ontology id?
Yes. Uberon and FMA identifiers resolve to the structure that carries them.
